SANTORUM vs. ROMNEY: Consistent Conservative vs. Hollow Man

The Challenge To the Anointed One’s Hollowness in Iowa

Rick Santorum if the polls are to be believed is surging in Iowa on the verge of catching the Republican establishment’s anointed one in Mitt Romney and establishment anathemaRon Paul, and may yet even eclipse them both at the finish line in the Iowa caucuses. That is unless Romney has some extra tickets for his supporters. It wouldn’t be the first time the man ran afoul of election laws. Many believe that Santorum is the “one to watch” in Iowa. If you have caught C-Span at odd hours of the morning like I have, it is easy to see why the relentless Santorum is catching fire at the right time.  Rick Santorum’s late surge is based as much on his solid and ‘consistent conservative’ credentials and straight forward, earnest approach as it is on the shallowness of the media’s heir apparent to the Republican mantle.

Mitt Romney’s fraudulent opportunism means that in up close retail politics, he is not embraceable by discerning people, even those in his own party. It is not I would argue solely his ’struggles winning over evangelical Christians’.  As one Republican friend stated to me, “Romney is the white Obama with different parents.” As humorously irreverent as that may sound, I may concede that Romney’s is clearly the brand preferred in this election cycle as much as Obama’s brand was in the 2008 cycle. Nevertheless, the man is beyond insincere.  Multiple Choice Mitt is a ‘Political Chameleon’ and shape-shifter who LIES and changes his positions on a dime with a proficiency and shamelessness literally unrivaled in the history of American politics. You don’t believe me? Take a look:

The fractured field in Iowa, however, still inures to Liar Romney’s benefit. Mitt Romney cannot solidify support behind his candidacy with a super majority in Iowa because Mitt Romney is a fundamentally hollow man, one devoid of a soul. This is true whether or not you see his faith in the Mormon fraud as relevant or not. Romney is so hollow he too should be off to see the Wizard of Oz with the Tin Man so maybe he can gain a soul.  He has no core principles or values, except perhaps political expediency. A majority of Iowans see right through Romney.  The polls suggest that many may now be turning towards Santorum, much as they have for Ron Paul and away from other Republican candidates. Wall Street, in the business of picking winners, still firmly embraces Romney, a man who belongs to and has held a leadership position in a cult with ‘weird and sinister beliefs’.

Criticism of the Mormon institution or those like Romney who have held a leadership position in the fraudulently founded LDS cult, does not, in my estimation, amount to bigotry. Fact is that LDS founder,  Joseph Smith, was arrested and convicted in New York and was found guilty of being a con-artist, an impostor — he was a necromancer and a charlatan. This conviction was four years before he published the Book of Mormon! Court documents prove he was a convicted criminal.

Iowans perhaps realize that America will be better off if Romney is scrutinized and perhaps faces a legitimate challenge rather than a coronation, even if the elite media and the money men want Romney.

Up close and personal you cannot get this past a majority of voters in Iowa. Iowa voters are telling America in these polls that as shiny and pretty as is Mitt Romney, he is a like a “JoePa”, one of those famous cardboard cutouts of an actual human being that one could find all over Penn State’s campus during Joe Paterno’s reign as head coach of the Nittany Lions. Romney’s posture and indifference towards telling the truth, even about his own scam based faith, only lends credence to the shape-shifting label that he has been anointed with. It has rendered him not worthy of the trust of many voters.  Enter former Pennsylvania Republican Senator Rick Santorum, whether or not you agree with his political viewpoints, he has been as consistent a conservative as any in America over the last 25 years. He walks the talk.  Santorum is neither a hypocrite nor a liar.  On the other hand, a vote for Romney is a vote for the perpetuation of the Mormon scam.
