HAS THE SOCIAL PARASITE PEAKED?

Devorah Rose has in the words of Bud Fox in Wall Street “bagged the elephant”.  The  Frankenstein Fame Monster created in part by the distraction culture media machine, anorexia and plastic surgery found herself on the front page of the New York Post twice in one week. The question is, however, has Devorah Rose peaked?  Where does she go from here? Appearing on the front page of the world’s leading tabloid media,  a woman of literally no meaningful accomplishment involved in a media scandal involving one of the most well known authors of our time,  is the highest heights for a Social Parasite.

Dangerous Beauty Poses as Victim

But I can’t stop staring in those evil eyes

Posing as a victim, Miss Devorah Rose stated:

“He’s a hurtful person. His was sadistic, violating behavior. I’m never again going to look up to someone I’m not close to. It doesn’t matter if a man is your idol, if a man makes you feel bad, you need to stand up for yourself. Women need to have a no-jerk policy. Women can’t let men play games with them. I just want girls to know they need to speak out and this type of behavior is not OK.”

Ms. Rose’s Achilles’ heal is that she is a bona fide Social Parasite. Anyone who has literally gone through the level of personal reconstruction as Ms. Rose has serious self esteem issues. She has attempted to redefine herself to the world at large through cosmetic makeovers and revisionist history of her lineage.  Miss Rose has few people who believe a single, solitary word that flows from her fake lips.  She has some Nerve. Despite her assertions in the Sunday New York Post cover article, Mr. Rushdie has not used anything against her or about her that is not already in the public domain, that is unless you believe that there is a massive media conspiracy against her involving the NY Times, The Observer, NY Magazine, Gawker, Scallywag & Vagabond, City File et. al etc.  Her posture in all this actually reeks with all the sincerity of a social grifter fleecing her mark.

While some may commend the upstart Jewish socialite for her persistence in garnering time in the spotlight without any noteworthy accomplishments, men of means and accomplishment are now on notice that a scheming Forrest Gump with a penchant for appearing in the right place at the right time to garner media attention,  may be one of the most annoying and dangerous personages for any such man to cross paths with in this town. Simply put, she will sell you out at hello.

Salman Rusdie, in all his research and while living in forced exile/hiding after the issuance of a fatwa against him by Ayatollah Khomeni and the violent Muslim reaction that followed publication of  The Satanic Verses,  I do not believe ever encountered anyone so deeply committed to completion of their mission as that of a crazed ‘fame monster’ like  Miss Devorah Rose.

Upon closer examination of the images of Devorah Rose in Maxim,  Facebook and Twitter, what I see is not an attractive, sexually desirable woman but something that is disturbing. The images are a cross between a concentration camp victim, a vampire and leave her looking like she is but one procedure away from looking like Jocelyn Wildenstein. What was not removed with a plastic surgeon’s scalpel or sucked out via liposuction, enhanced via breast implants or collagen injections was photo shopped or air brushed to reveal a feminine creature that is a turn on only for necrophiliacs or pedophiles.

This may sound particularly harsh but its true. Miss Devorah Rose is not a compelling natural beauty. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. And in my estimation, whatever beauty has been crafted and is visually appealing comes undone by a narcissistic personality disorder. What I often witnessed covering Social Life Magazine parties was her narcissism taking over. Her posture insisted that the camera focused on her  and whatever celebrity she was able to wrangle to pose on the red carpet at the Social Life Estate. Absent her control,  the camera might focus on the female beauty or girl next door professional women who often in abundance as either  share house time share guests or invitees to the Social Life Estate but who were lesser photographed and often did not appear in any press clippings. Nevertheless, these were the women actually often surrounded by men. Rose did not garner similar attention.

Not a Victim:   He’s Just Not That Into You.

The Satanic Verses author and former spouse of Padma Lakshmi has undoubtedly already suffered sufficient shame for not recognizing more easily the dangerous beauty of Devorah Rose. Her semi-nude persona appealed to him on some level.  Despite Ms. Rose’s alleged interest in an “intellectual relationship”, fact is he did not see that as a possibility.  Who could argue with that? Despite her Columbia University pedigree she is simply one of the most vapid people I have encountered on the New York social scene, and trust me that is saying a lot.  Mr. Rushdie, were he in need of that type of companionship, or even wanted The Girlfriend Experience, simply should have paid by the hour. It would have been cheaper.

The love of my college years once famously told me, ‘Only time can tell what the future holds in store for us.’  She is no longer in my life. Rushdie, like most of us is likely sincerely hoping that her 15 Minutes are finally up rather than only beginning.  Some may hope that this type of ‘fame crazed reality star’ takes a nose dive into the scrap heap of human history.

Before she does so, maybe she should add to her reading list, ‘He’s Just Not That Into You’. Capische?
